ARCADE is its own plugin (Audio Unit, VST, VST3, AAX) and does not require activation in Native Access or Output HUB. You can access it directly from within your DAW's 'instruments' plugins. Installing Ableton Live with MacUpdate Desktop. If nothing happens, you might not have MacUpdate Desktop installed. Download MacUpdate Desktop or Download without MacUpdate Desktop. Go to: /Applications/Ableton Live 9 Suite.app/Contents/MacOS/ and open the 'Live' Unix executable. It will open Ableton, but it'll open through terminal. Just leave terminal open while using Ableton. Everything will work as it should. When done; first exit Ableton and then quit terminal. Reason (Mac): Please go to the User Library folder which is hidden by default. Press the Option key while selecting Go from the menu in Finder, and then select Library. - Feb 07, 2014 So my macbook started running slow after I nearly filled the hd with tons of files from my external. Ableton Live 9: (Mac and PC)
ARCADE doesn't support 32-bit systems on MacOS + PC, and it's likely the reason that you can't see ARCADE in Live 9.
Please try scanning your plugins and also make sure you're running a 64-bit version of Ableton Live, which may require an update. To determine if you're running a 64-bit application you can use the following steps:
- Type the following keyboard shortcut Command ⌘ + Space bar to launch Spotlight.
- Type System Information and hit Enter when it shows up.
- Scroll down to the Software section in System Information.
- Click Applications and wait for your applications to load.
- The column to the far right in the Applications table will give you a simple, 'Yes' or 'No' answer as to whether or not your app is 64-bit.
If your copy of Live 9 is not 64-bit then that is the reason you can't see it in your DAW.
